Because there aren’t really instructions on how to do this.
To refuel your 3DMG with gas, you get the nennryou out and right click while holding it until the number in the top left hand corner of your screen says 24000/24000.
To replace a blade after it’s broken, don’t take out the new blades, go to the handle and right click. This’ll automatically equip a new blade onto your handle.
To actually propel yourself using the 3DMG, you press V to fire the left hook and B to fire the right hook. Pressing both at the same time fires both in the same direction. They will go wherever your crosshairs are pointed.
To release yourself from the 3DMG, click down on the mouse wheel. Sorry to those who don’t have a mouse.
To those who are getting the ‘Missing Texture’ on the nennryou and the hookshot, save these images anywhere.

and this one as moveleg.png
Then, open up your 3DMG mod folder, go to mods > sshookshot > textures > items, then move both nennryou.png and moveleg.png into that folder.
Restart minecraft, and both the gas canisters and leg holster/sheath things should display that instead of the missing texture blip.
Holding ctrl makes you SPEEDRUN with the use of the gas in your 3DMG.
Holding shift and letting go pulls you like a slingshot.

I’ll admit: This was inspired by another post seen.
Nevertheless, I’ll show my attempt to give this a shot: OFFcraft!
This is actually a server I hope to make live for everyone, and a fun project I’m actively working on in my spare time!
There will be functioning puzzles and almost everything is built to be game accurate! Unfortunately, I’m not quite skilled enough to make special NPCs and textures are currently just default.
As of this post, Zone 0 and Zone 1 are ready to be displayed: However, their puzzles are still in progress, so some sections might be hard to access. Zone 2 is currently being built!
The server will be ON for a while while I’m hard at work fixing up puzzles!
